What transportation is available to Cordova?
       Several airlines make daily stops in Cordova.
       Alaska Airlines: 800-225-2752 Two daily stops in Cordova.
       One from Seattle via Juneau (approximately 3 hours) and one from Anchorage
       (25 minutes)
       ERA Aviation: 800-426-0333 Depending on the day of the week, one or two       stops in Cordova (during the summer months) from Anchorage (45 minutes)
      Jim Air: 907-243-5161 One stop daily on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from       Anchorage (approximately 1 hour).
      For more leisurely travel:
    Alaskan Marine Highway: 800-642-0066. Transports passengers and
      vehicles with stops in Cordova from: Valdez (approximately 5 hours), Whittier
      (7 hours), Seward (12 hours). Check with their office for rates and departure times

4)  Are there other interesting things to do in Cordova?
     • Hiking: More than 35 miles of US Forest Service trails lead you to Alpine       meadows, glacier vistas, and coastal habitats. You can also hike a trail which       climbs Mt. Eyak and joins the popular Crater Lake Trail.
     • Kayak the Sound: Glide quietly by seals, whales, and sea otters in Prince William       Sound. This is a world class kayaking adventure.
     • Walking Tour: Rent a cassette player and tape from the Chamber of Commerce,       and take a 60 minute self tour of the city. A must for all visitors.
     • Skiing: From bunny hills to expert slopes, skiing Mt. Eyak is wonderful for any skill       level, and the view... well it is spectacular
     • Sightseeing: The Copper River Highway (a road system running some 50 miles out       of Cordova), meanders past trout and salmon streams, spectacular glaciers and the       Million Dollar Bridge.
